We were at the WHCE 18-22 February. It was an awesome event and we met tons of Warriors and supporters. It's going to be a great year for Warriors! This column is usually based on action from the most recent race, but this week we are bringing you something a little different. 250SX West Region racer Landen Powell is involved with a very cool organization called Sportsmen for Warriors, and together they have been giving our Nation's true heroes the opportunity to be race-day mechanics during Monster Energy Supercross.

Miller Motorsports Park has extended its sponsorship agreement with professional Supercross racer Landen Powell of South Jordan, Utah. Part of Powell's 2015 campaign includes a partnership with Sportsmen for Warriors. At each round of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship in which Powell competes, Sportsmen For Warriors will select one Warrior to serve as Powell's on-track mechanic.

Country singer, Chris Petersen is donating 100% of his online sales of his new music video "Every Time I Hear The Rain" to Sportsmen for Warriors. Chris wanted to do something to give back to the police force, which has been under lots of scrutiny as of late. "Every Time I Hear The Rain" was inspired by the hardships military families must endure as part of life.

Sportsmen For Warriors is going to charter a shark dive excursion for 20 Warriors. The Warriors selected for this trip will have the once in a lifetime experience of cage diving with Great White sharks off the coast of Guadalupe Island, Mexico. When not diving, Warriors will be sharing their stories with other Warriors and learning about education and employment opportunities

October 3 marks the 5-year anniversary of the Battle of Combat Outpost Keating, one of the most decorated and deadliest days for the United States in Afghanistan.
